BUICK DETAILS THE UPCOMING 2025 ENCLAVE SUV

Buick refreshed the Enclave in 2022 but has left it alone for the last two model years. That's changing in 2025, but the automaker's main change is renaming the SUV's trim levels.

The new Enclave trades the Essence trim for Preferred and the Premium for Sport Touring. Prices also increased slightly. The base Preferred now starts at $46,395, a $1,100 increase, and the Sport Touring starts at $48,795. The top Avenir trim climbed $500 to $59,395. The good news is that the new Sport Touring trim is cheaper than the outgoing Premium by almost $4,000.

Buick offers a single powertrain option for the Enclave in 2025. It's a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder making 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. Power hits the front or all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Buick notes a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds when the Enclave is properly equipped.

Most variants get a widescreen combination gauge cluster and infotainment touchscreen spanning 30 inches across the dash. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, HD radio, and more. The Avenir adds a 16-speaker stereo and a head-up display.

While the 2025 Enclave hasn't been crash-tested, Buick added a handful of new safety tech. New standard driver aids include blind spot steering assist, intersection automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and lane keep assist with lane departure warnings. The SUV is also available with Super Cruise across the model line, making it Buick's first vehicle to offer the feature.

The Enclave is available for preview on Buick's website now. Orders and the configuration site will open this summer.
