$1.95 MILLION ENGLER V12 IS THE 1,200HP BUGATTI OF QUAD BIKES

If you find supercars a tad too boring, and even if the latest 1000HP hypercar doesn’t float your boat, then this absolutely bonkers quad bike would just be the perfect ride for you. Slovakian company Engler has showcased its new product. The Engler V12, as the name suggests, will have a 1,200HP V12 engine stuffer into its petite body, although the company hasn’t revealed the engine identity yet.

One cursory glance at the spec sheet reveals how crazy this quad bike is and how exotic the underpinnings are. It seems that it’s aimed at rivalling the most expensive and fastest hypercars with its titanium exhaust and ceramic brakes, while the UFO-infused styling is also a perfect canvas for the 12 cylinders lurking within.

Even in its least powerful iteration, this quad bike will develop 700HP while the most potent version will make an eyebrow-raising 1200HP along with the same output in torque. Add in the fact that it weighs a paltry 1200 kgs, and you can sense how this machine will give new meaning to the phrase ‘wind in your hair’.

The chassis is a Carbon Monocoque with 3D printed titanium accessories with front and rear tubular subframes in titanium. The gearbox is an 8-speed Dual Clutch dubbed “micro box” which has been developed in-house and has been designed to cope with the immense amount of power on offer. The wheels, on the other hand, are 20-inch magnesium forged alloys wrapped around sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.

Owners would be able to take one more person they are brave enough to tag along, that is, with leather seats draped in the same material as posh Hermès bags. They’re even tailor-made for the client. Tech-wise, there’s a twin-screen display along with Apple CarPlay and a height-adjustable windshield that works with active aerodynamics.

The company only plans to make 10 examples per year, and with no shortage of billionaires wanting to out-flex their buddies, the company told topgear.com that they’ve already taken 5 pre-orders for the quad bike that’s priced at AU$1.95 Million (€1.2 Million).
