DANILO PETRUCCI IN DIFFICULTIES: 'I WAS LOOKING FOR CONFIDENCE THAT NEVER CAME'
Danilo Petrucci left the World Superbike tests in Portimao with reason to be worried. In fact, he considers that there was a setback from Jerez and is having problems aboard the Panigale V4 R of the Barni Spark Racing Team.
On the GPOne.com website, the italian summed up the Algarve tests: 'The new bike is a step forward, but I still don’t have it in my hands. In fact, I can't improve on the new tyre and there's a lot of work to do. Unfortunately, I still can't feel the Panigale V4 as mine'.
According to Petrucci, he never managed to find the confidence with the bike he needed, admitting that he didn't even look at the timesheet: 'In Jerez it was better for me in terms of distance, while here I don't even see the classification. I was looking for confidence that unfortunately never came'.
